AC/DC’s official website has launched a countdown clock set to reach zero on Monday, February 12 at 3:00 a.m. EST / 12:00 a.m. PST. Speculation abounds among fans that this countdown heralds the announcement of the band’s first tour dates in eight years. Alongside the timer, there’s a sign-up form for fans to join AC/DC’s mailing list for further updates.

Just recently, AC/DC’s official social media channels shared a cryptic trailer featuring the flickering lightning bolt from the band’s iconic logo, followed by the words “ARE YOU READY,” set to the music of their 1990 song of the same name from the album “The Razors Edge”.

AC/DC returned to the stage after a seven-year hiatus with a performance on October 7, 2023, at the Power Trip festival in Indio, California. The band delivered a powerful 24-song set to close out day two of the festival at Empire Polo Club. Notably, the concert marked the first time AC/DC opened their set with “If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)”. The show also included live debuts of two tracks from their 2020 album “Power Up”: “Demon Fire” and “Shot In The Dark”.

For the Power Trip festival, AC/DC enlisted drummer Matt Laug to join them onstage.
