Bret Michaels has addressed the recent speculation surrounding a potential reunion with the original members of Poison in a candid Facebook post. His comments come after bandmates Rikki Rockett and Pete Evick previously discussed the idea of a reunion in 2025, which sparked confusion and debate among fans.

In his message, Michaels clarified his intentions for the next couple of years. “In 2025, I’m planning to perform limited shows to focus primarily on my health, especially regarding my diabetes, along with some much-needed personal family time,” he wrote, humorously comparing himself to a classic muscle car that just needs a little maintenance.

Looking ahead, he expressed excitement for 2026, which marks the 40th anniversary of Poison’s debut album, Look What the Cat Dragged In. Michaels suggested that it would be the perfect opportunity for a reunion tour, proposing “40 awesome limited dates” to celebrate the milestone. He emphasized the success of past tours, hinting that fans could look forward to a headlining tour filled with classic hits.

Michaels acknowledged that while plans are in the works, nothing is confirmed yet, and the logistics of organizing a successful tour require careful coordination. He playfully noted the significance of the number four in relation to the band: “4 original members, 40th anniversary, 40 limited dates.”

Despite Rockett’s earlier comments implying that Michaels was reluctant to tour in 2025, the frontman has now reassured fans that his focus on health is temporary, with a strong vision for the future of Poison.
