Dave Grohl recently reflected on his early relationship with wife Jordyn Blum, humorously referring to her as his “future ex-wife” during a resurfaced 2007 interview with Q magazine. He recounted a night out when he was feeling out of place among glamorous company, jokingly stating, “I was staring at her going, ‘You’re my future ex-wife.’” Despite the playful comment, the couple married in 2003 and have three daughters: Violet, 18; Harper, 15; and Ophelia, 10.
However, recent revelations took a serious turn when Grohl announced on Instagram that he has welcomed a new baby daughter outside of his marriage. “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her,” he stated, expressing his commitment to regaining the trust and forgiveness of his wife and children.
Grohl did not disclose details about the new child or the child’s mother. He and Blum celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary this year. Reflecting on their early relationship, Grohl shared how he initially hesitated to pursue a serious connection but later reached out to Blum after three months, only to find she was pleasantly surprised to hear from him.
Following Grohl’s announcement, his daughter Violet appeared to deactivate her Instagram account, raising concerns among fans about how the family is coping with the news.
