Ex-Guns N’ Roses Guitarist Joins Alice Cooper Band To Replace Orianthi

It’s unfortunate that Orianthi is having to step away due to health issues, but it’s good to hear that she’s receiving the care she needs. Her decision to focus on her recovery highlights the importance of prioritizing health, especially on such a demanding tour. Gilby Clarke stepping in for her, though, is an exciting turn of events. His addition to Alice Cooper’s band is a unique dynamic, considering his history in rock with Guns N’ Roses and other projects. Clarke’s ability to adapt his style to different bands should bring a fresh energy to the performance, even though it’s a temporary switch.

Orianthi’s desire to bring her own sound to Alice’s band, blending blues rock with their iconic style, was a bold move, and it would have been exciting to see how that influenced the band’s live performances. Now, with Clarke filling in, the band gets a different type of rock experience, which could offer a different flair to the setlist.

The tour schedule, starting in January, sounds like it’s packed with great moments, especially with the Rock Legends Cruise later in February. It’ll be interesting to see how the rest of the tour unfolds with these unexpected changes!
