Singer Hopes for Reunion
A well-known rock vocalist recently expressed his desire for a former lead singer to rejoin a popular band. In an interview with 101 WRIF, he shared his thoughts on the matter when the conversation shifted to the band’s current lineup and their temporary vocalist. When the host mentioned how well the new singer fits in, he responded:
“Yeah, for real.”
He then addressed the original lead singer, saying:
“It would be cool if [the original singer] would sing for [the band] again. Why can’t they just bury the hatchet and rock it, man?”
New Vocalist Chosen
In late March, the band announced that the temporary singer would join them for the next four gigs after the previous lead left. In a chat with Fox 26 reporters, a band member explained why they chose the new singer over the former lead. He shared:
“She is her own person. We asked her not for any other reason than how good she is, how powerful she is, and how much she means to people. I’ve gotta be completely honest. I knew this was gonna get attention, but I didn’t know people were gonna be snapping out.”
New Vocalist’s Future with the Band
The new vocalist hinted at the possibility of continuing with the band and the chance of more shows down the line. She said:
“I love doing it. I am sure even from all of the small videos that people have been posting around. I have a blast. So it isn’t a burden for me. In the wake of all the studying I’ve been doing [laughs]. I only do it for time. So I’m definitely willing to take a step at it whether that be a permanent fixture or not. We will see absolutely because schedules… That’s where we are keeping it with [the band member]. If I can, I will.”
