Josh Todd, frontman of Buckcherry, recently expressed pride in the band’s achievements over their 25-year career, particularly with the release of their tenth album, *Vol. 10.* In an interview with Paul Cashmere of Australia’s Noise11.com, Todd reflected on the significance of reaching this milestone. Although he didn’t feel the weight of it while recording, the realization hit during the album’s promotion, making him appreciate how far the band has come. He mentioned that being in one band with a solid catalog was always his dream, and now, he’s living it.
Todd also spoke about how hard he’s worked for the band’s success. Despite rock music fading from the mainstream, Buckcherry has built a solid reputation based on their live performances and maintained a dedicated fanbase worldwide. This consistency is something Todd is particularly proud of.
However, the journey hasn’t been without challenges. Last year, Todd told Metal Edge that there were times when he thought the band might break up. He originally envisioned Buckcherry as a stable group rather than a revolving door of musicians, though keeping some members longer than necessary was part of the learning process. Todd emphasized that success in the music industry requires not just creativity but also hard work and good business sense. When issues arise within the band, they need to be addressed promptly to avoid disruption.
