Liam Gallagher is preparing for a month-long spiritual retreat ahead of the upcoming Oasis reunion tour.

When a fan on X (formerly Twitter) asked Liam, “What plans do you have before Oasis rehearsals start, where you’ll probably just laugh at everyone?”, he responded, “I’m going to Mongolia for a month to work on my spiritual renaissance, then I’ll dive into rehearsals.”

Oasis will reunite next year for the first time since their split in 2009, much to the surprise of fans, given the notorious rivalry between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher that once led to public feuds and onstage clashes.

The band is set to kick off their Live ’25 Tour in July 2024, with performances across the U.K., North America, Asia, Australia, and South America. Last month, Liam responded to a fan who questioned whether Oasis would still be as good as they were in their prime.

Liam’s blunt response: “Got asked a ridiculous question yesterday—are Oasis gonna be as good as before? Because when some bands reunite, they’re not as good. I said, ‘Listen here, you CUNT, even on our worst day, we’ll still wipe the floor with most bands out there. BUMBACLART LG x.'”

While excitement builds for the reunion, the tour has also sparked controversy due to dynamic ticket pricing. Fans in the U.K. expressed frustration with the pricing model, but when Oasis announced their North American tour dates, they confirmed they would not use dynamic pricing in the U.S.

The band issued a statement clarifying, “Dynamic pricing is a tool used to combat ticket touting and to keep prices lower for a significant portion of fans. However, when ticket demand is off the charts—where the entire tour could be sold multiple times over—it can lead to a frustrating experience for fans, especially when the technology can’t handle the surge.”

Liam had previously teased new music on X, fueling speculation about an Oasis album. However, despite hinting that the album was “finished,” he later clarified he was joking, as reported by Rolling Stone.
