Liam Gallagher Reacts To Noel Gallagher Accusing Him To Ruin Oasis

In a recent interview with The Guardian, Liam Gallagher dismissed his brother Noel Gallagher’s explanations for Oasis’ breakup.

Liam suspects Noel always aimed for a solo career, evidenced by Noel’s performances during Oasis tours. He believes Noel disbanded Oasis for personal gain, contradicting Noel’s earlier statements attributing his departure to intimidation and a specific incident in Paris.

Liam maintains that his behavior, including drinking, was a consistent element of Oasis’s identity, stating, “That was my behavior since day one, and his. That’s what made Oasis what it was. I wasn’t any different, but now he’s changed, acting like ‘We can’t have that behavior.'”

Liam criticizes Noel for his current associations, particularly with Tom Meighan, despite refusing an Oasis reunion. He highlights the broader impact of Oasis’s split, noting job losses for their team and expressing frustration over Noel’s indifference.

Despite their differences, Liam hasn’t spoken directly to Noel about these issues. He reflects on his own growth, contrasting it with Noel’s unchanged attitude.

Supporting Liam’s stance, he sued Noel in 2011 for false claims regarding Oasis’s 2009 V Festival cancellation. Noel attributed Liam’s absence to a hangover, which Liam refuted, citing laryngitis. Liam was offended by Noel’s accusations, underscoring the ongoing Gallagher brothers’ feud.
