Lzzy Hale recently reflected on her experience stepping in for Erik Grönwall with Skid Row during the band’s final four shows of their 2024 tour. In an interview with 100.3 The X Rocks, she expressed her astonishment at being invited to perform alongside such respected musicians, stating, “It’s just amazing to be wanted by these legends.”
Hale made her debut with Skid Row on May 17 and received high praise from bassist Rachel Bolan, who called her “a beast on stage.” After her last performance on June 1, Hale shared her gratitude on Instagram, thanking the band and their fans for the opportunity. While there were rumors about her becoming the band’s permanent vocalist, she clarified in her farewell message that her current commitments prevent her from taking on a full-time role but expressed hope for future collaborations.
Skid Row is now in search of a new permanent vocalist, while Hale prepares for Halestorm’s upcoming tour starting September 21.
