Mayhem Announce 40th Anniversary North American Tour

Doing anything for four decades is almost unimaginable to most people. That’s 14,610 days or 350,640 hours—absolutely mind-boggling. So the fact that the legendary Norwegian black metal band Mayhem has not only lasted this long but is now gearing up for a North American tour to celebrate 40 years as a band, despite numerous lineup changes and controversies, is nothing short of impressive.

This tour, set to take place over six days in November, will kick off on November 12 in Montreal, Quebec, and wrap up on November 23 in Denver, Colorado.

Mayhem is billing this tour as a “once-in-a-lifetime experience for fans,” with a setlist that spans their entire career, from the 1987 *Deathcrush* EP to 2019’s *Daemon*. The shows will also feature rare footage and photos from the band’s extensive history.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale to the general public this Friday, August 30, at 10 a.m. local time, with pre-sales beginning a day earlier at 1 p.m. EST. You can check out the full list of tour dates below.
