Metal vocalists might not be the usual suspects on *The Voice*, but many have voices that could rival those of the best blues, R&B, or soul singers. Perhaps it’s time for a metal coach to join *The Voice*—maybe someone like Sebastian Bach, if he’s not too busy.
Despite Opeth being hailed as one of the greatest progressive metal bands, their vocalist, Mikael Åkerfeldt, doesn’t view himself as a standout singer.
