U.S. metal legends NASTY SAVAGE have just premiered “Brain Washer,” the first single from their highly anticipated upcoming album *Jeopardy Room*, set for release on October 10, 2024, via FHM Records. The track gives fans a taste of what’s to come, with the band’s signature heavy sound and intense energy.
NASTY SAVAGE originally gained popularity in the mid-1980s, largely thanks to the outrageous stage antics of their vocalist, “Nasty” Ronnie Galletti, who was notorious for smashing television sets over his head during performances. The band released a series of albums and an EP under Metal Blade Records between 1985 and 1989, establishing themselves as a powerful force in the metal scene. After disbanding in the late ’80s, they reunited for a series of shows in the late ’90s before breaking up again in 2012. The band reformed once more in 2016 and has been active ever since.
Their “comeback” album *Psycho Psycho* was released in 2004, featuring 12 tracks, including a revamped version of the demo classic “Savage Desire.” The band played live sporadically until their second split but has been steadily active following their 2016 reunion.
*Jeopardy Room* was recorded at the iconic Morrisound Recording Studio in Tampa, Florida, a studio known for its work with legendary metal acts like SAVATAGE and CRIMSON GLORY. The album was produced by Jim Morris, who brings his extensive experience and deep connection to the metal scene. The track “Witches Sabbath” features guest appearances from OBITUARY’s Donald Tardy on drums and John Tardy on vocals, adding an extra layer of intensity to the album.
