Ozzy Osbourne has apologized to Britney Spears after previously criticizing her online dance videos. The Black Sabbath frontman made his apology on a recent episode of *The Osbournes* podcast and shared a brief video on social media expressing his regret:
“Britney, I really owe you an apology. I’m so sorry for making that comment. However, it would be better if you didn’t do the same f*cking dance every day. Change a few movements… I love Britney Spears, but it’s the same dance every day! I really do apologize. I love you and I think you’re beautiful.”
Ozzy’s Earlier Comments
In an earlier episode of *The Osbournes* podcast, Ozzy expressed his frustration with Spears’ frequent dance posts on social media. Speaking to his wife Sharon and their children, Jack and Kelly, he said:
“I’m fed up seeing Britney Spears on YouTube. Every f*cking day. It’s sad. Really, really sad.”
### How Britney Spears Responded
After Ozzy’s comments, Spears posted a new dance video and responded to the criticism in a lengthy message. In her reply, she first defended actress Kate Beckinsale against similar social media criticism, then addressed the remarks about her own posts.
Spears clarified that it’s a misconception to think it’s sad she dances on Instagram daily, emphasizing that she hardly dances and isn’t poor. She also spoke about the importance of supporting one another:
“I know what it’s like to be judged, but I think it’s important to HELP EACH OTHER and invite each other to places that help our souls grow! It’s good to see others doing painting class… dance class… What have you seen lately? What are you gonna do to help someone out and bring their dreams to life besides being like me and Kate’s haters saying we’re too old or don’t have appropriate content?”
She added:
“Do you think perhaps they might be offended by what they see? Would a condescending approach be better like inviting those exact people to my class and let them see how my students are nourishing and living their lives!? It’s good for the soul yet frankly it’s not condescending AT ALL. It’s BEING a smart a** and damn those are usually pretty attractive! On the flip side, there are actually people that do help others out and mean well that don’t embarrass or demoralize another!”
