POISON drummer Rikki Rockett has confirmed that the band will embark on a tour in 2025.

On Monday (June 24), the 62-year-old musician, whose real name is Richard Allan Ream, announced on social media: “POISON will be touring in 2025. As usual, there will be no backing tracks. Live, raw and uncut. Warts and all.”

Four months ago, Bret Michaels discussed POISON’s plans to reunite for more shows following their participation in the 2022 “The Stadium Tour” alongside MÖTLEY CRÜE, DEF LEPPARD, and Joan Jett. During a February 25 Q&A session aboard the Rock Legends Cruise XI, he expressed his excitement about the prospect of a new tour, saying, “When we go back, I think in 2025, it’s always been, to me, all-original POISON. We’ll have C.C. DeVille on guitar, Bobby Dall on bass, Rikki, and myself, and we’ll do another big stadium and arena tour in 2025.”

Explaining his motivation for returning to the road with POISON after focusing mostly on his solo career, Bret emphasized the band’s longstanding friendship and chemistry. “We’ve known each other since junior high school… I wouldn’t be here without Bobby or Rikki or C.C.,” he shared. “If anyone saw ‘The Stadium Tour’, that was a party. And being out there with DEF LEPPARD, MÖTLEY CRÜE, and Joan Jett, you’re talking A-plus awesomeness. We just came out and brought it.”

POISON’s North American tour with DEF LEPPARD, MÖTLEY CRÜE, and JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS was originally slated for 2020 but was postponed to 2021 and then to 2022 due to various circumstances.
