Sebastian Bach recently took to Twitter to address criticism of his new solo album, *Child Within the Man*.
The controversy began when Eddie Trunk praised Bach’s third song from the album, “(Hold On) To The Dream.” A fan responded by criticizing the perceived degradation in Bach’s vocal performance, which prompted Bach to call the fan an “idiot.”
In response to Bach’s comment, the user fired back:
“Uh oh, I hit a nerve. Don’t be sensitive. Nobody sings like they did at 27. Pro Tools has its benefits. In the new world of non-live performances, there’s no shame in using studio aids. I actually liked ‘Subhuman Race.’ You seem very angry.”
Bach’s Response to the Criticism
Bach didn’t hold back in his reply:
“You did not hit a nerve. You have zero clue what you are talking about.”
When the user argued that age can affect singing ability and suggested that in-studio aids are common, Bach retorted:
“It’s a good thing that you are a moron. Tell us all how Elvis Baskette and Robert Ludwig use autotune. Hilarious how stupid you are.”
