Bach responded to a user on X who defended the right to bear arms, specifically mentioning AR-15 rifles. The user argued that “it’s not the weapon, it’s the person” and emphasized the constitutional right to own such arms. Bach countered:
“Correct. We were given the RIGHT to bear arms. Nobody on the planet should have the right to *bear arms such as an AR-15. Nobody’s right to bear arms should be more important than the safety of a public citizen of the United States of America.”
