SKID ROW has announced they are parting ways with Erik Grönwall. The Swedish singer, who joined the band in early 2022 after recovering from leukemia, will step down to focus on his health and family. The band’s longtime friend Lzzy Hale of HALESTORM will take over vocal duties for the upcoming four concerts.
Grönwall shared his decision, explaining that the rigorous touring schedule and travel demands were too challenging for his recovery process following a bone marrow transplant. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to tour with SKID ROW and his appreciation for the fans’ support.
To celebrate Grönwall’s time with the band, SKID ROW will release a live album capturing the past two years of their journey. The band members wished Grönwall the best for his health and future endeavors.
