SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS are set to enter the studio in November to record their fifth album, aiming for a tentative release in 2025. Earlier today, Slash shared a photo with bandmates Brent Fitz (drums) and Todd Kerns (bass, vocals), captioning it: “Back at it for new record coming sooner than later. The three of us starting the initial framework. Then Frank [Sidoris, guitar], then Myles [Kennedy, vocals]. Recording in November. RnFn! #Conspirators.”
In May, Slash mentioned on SiriusXM’s “Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk” that they planned to record in the fall. He also noted that following the studio sessions, he would be back on the road with GUNS N’ ROSES, highlighting the scheduling complexities with Myles Kennedy’s involvement in ALTER BRIDGE.
The band kicked off “The River Is Rising – Rest Of The World Tour ’24” on January 23 in Mexico City, where they performed a 24-song set that included the live debut of the GUNS N’ ROSES track “Don’t Damn Me,” featuring Kerns on lead vocals. MAMMOTH WVH supported the tour on various dates.
Prior to this tour, SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS last performed in early 2022 during a U.S. tour. Their latest album, “4,” was released in February 2022 through Gibson Records and BMG, marking Slash’s fifth solo album and fourth with this lineup.
In 2022, they also released “Live At Studios 60,” their first double live LP, featuring a performance of “4” and additional songs, recorded live in Los Angeles. For the recording of “4,” the band worked with producer Dave Cobb at the historic RCA Studio A, aiming for a fresh sound captured live in the studio.
Earlier this year, Slash released a blues album titled “Orgy Of The Damned” and launched the “S.E.R.P.E.N.T.” festival, performing with his blues band featuring Johnny Griparic, Teddy “ZigZag” Andreadis, Michael Jerome, and Tash Neal.
