Nugent’s Firm Denial
Nugent clarified the situation by stating:
“‘Well, I heard you’re retired.’ Did you hear that? I don’t know where I heard that because I never said that. In fact, when people asked me if I was going to retire, I said no, absolutely not. I’m not retiring; I’m just planning to do scattered gigs. I don’t want to spend the night in the hotel because Coco and Sadie would miss me too much.”
