Todd Kerns recently shared updates on the progress of the upcoming Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators album during an interview with the Appetite For Distortion podcast. Although the songs for the album have already been written and heard by the band, the focus has primarily been on the musical side of things, leaving vocals to be recorded at a later stage. Kerns mentioned that while they are hopeful for a 2025 release, he realistically expects the album might come out in early 2026, acknowledging the unpredictable nature of timelines in the music industry.

Myles Kennedy also provided insight into the album’s progress in December. He revealed that while the songwriting was completed before his solo tour, the hardest part of the process was the writing itself. Slash sent him demos, and they worked together on melodies and lyrics. With the writing and demoing done, Kennedy is now waiting for the right moment to enter the studio and record the final vocals. Despite the delays, Kennedy expressed his excitement for the album, calling it a thrilling project that fans can look forward to.

Their last album, 4, was released in February 2022, and this new album will continue their collaboration with the same lineup, including Kerns, Kennedy, and Slash.
