At just 14, Vinya Chhabra delivered a jaw-dropping performance on The Voice that left three coaches spinning in their chairs. During Monday night’s Season 28 Blind Auditions (October 6), Vinya tackled Alanis Morissette’s 1996 hit “Ironic” with a confidence far beyond her years.

Vinya isn’t new to the stage—she’s a classically trained concert pianist who has performed at Carnegie Hall and dabbled in musical theater. That experience clearly helped her remain calm during what could have been a nerve-wracking, career-defining moment.

Reba McEntire was the first to turn, followed by Michael Bublé, with Snoop Dogg making a last-minute spin. Coach Snoop praised her stage presence, saying, “You pack a powerful punch at your age. You’re not nervous. You’re not afraid. That’s superstar quality.” Reba called her a “powerhouse” and applauded her attitude and voice.

When it was time to choose a coach, Vinya’s parents joined her on stage. She ultimately picked Team Reba, a decision the country star celebrated, noting, “Vinya really had great range, great tone, and the young contestants on this show are like sponges. They really wanna learn. They really wanna grow.”

Teen talent has a strong track record on The Voice: Brynn Cartelli (Season 14) and Carter Rubin (Season 19) won at 15, while Danielle Bradbery (Season 4), Sawyer Fredericks (Season 8), and Chevel Shepherd (Season 15) all triumphed at 16. Vinya now joins that legacy with a debut performance no one will forget.

Her audition is already making waves—watch Vinya Chhabra shine on stage and see why the coaches couldn’t look away.
