Most young singers can only dream of standing onstage beside their musical idol. But 12-year-old Victoria Anthony decided to do something about it.
When she discovered that P!nk was coming to perform in her hometown of Vancouver, Victoria launched a social media campaign asking the superstar for a chance to sing with her at Rogers Arena. Her simple message quickly spread online, eventually catching the attention of Canadian music legend Sarah McLachlan.
Still, when concert night arrived, Victoria had received no answer from P!nk. She went to the show anyway, excited just to see her idol perform.
Then, halfway through the concert, everything changed. P!nk noticed Victoria in the audience and asked if she was the young singer she had heard about—and whether she wanted to come onstage and sing.
Victoria didn’t hesitate. She walked onto the stage and delivered a stunning performance of “Perfect,” leaving the crowd completely amazed. Her powerful, mature voice seemed far beyond her years, and even P!nk looked genuinely impressed.
Afterward, P!nk joked that she might not sing the song herself because she didn’t want to follow Victoria.
