At the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, Carrie Underwood wowed the crowd the moment she stepped on stage. Dressed in a shimmering corset, a playful black skirt, and bold red streaks in her blonde hair, she lit up the room with her powerful performance of her chart-topping hit, Undo It.
But just as the crowd thought they’d seen it all — in walked a surprise they’d never forget.
Rock legend and American Idol judge Steven Tyler suddenly joined Carrie on stage, and the energy in the room skyrocketed. The audience leapt to their feet, clapping, singing, and cheering as the country queen and the rock icon finished Undo It in a fiery duet.
Then, without missing a beat, Tyler launched into Aerosmith’s classic hit Walk This Way, with Carrie right beside him. The crowd went wild — fans and celebrities alike singing along to every word, fully caught up in the magic of the moment.
Before Carrie’s unforgettable performance, she was introduced by real-life inspiration Bethany Hamilton — the surfer who lost her arm in a shark attack at 13 and whose story is told in the upcoming film Soul Surfer. Carrie plays Bethany’s youth leader in the movie, which is set to hit theaters on April 8 in the U.S. and Canada.
To celebrate the film’s release, Carrie will be making the rounds on TV this week, including appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (Wednesday) and The Ellen DeGeneres Show (Thursday). Don’t miss it!
