Reba McEntire, Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Nettles from Sugarland, Miranda Lambert, and the Judds each had their shining moments throughout the show. But the night truly reached its peak when they all joined forces to perform a moving cover of Lynn’s iconic song, “Coal Miner’s Daughter.”

Martina McBride opened the performance with a heartfelt message: “None of us would be doing what we do if she hadn’t paved the way. It’s no surprise that Loretta Lynn is called the first lady of country music.”

As the women took turns singing lines from Lynn’s 1970 autobiographical hit, their smiles and energy lit up the stage—and the crowd responded with roaring applause. Though Loretta herself couldn’t be there in person due to knee surgery, she sent a warm video message thanking everyone for honoring her incredible 50-year career. With 16 No. 1 hits, 52 Top 10 hits, and 16 ACM awards, her influence is undeniable.
