Country Stars Mourn Charlie Kirk, Share Prayers and Tributes

The country music world is joining millions across the nation in mourning Charlie Kirk, who was tragically shot and killed on September 10, 2025, while speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.

Kirk, 31, was a conservative activist, co-founder of Turning Point USA, CEO of Turning Point Action, and host of The Charlie Kirk Show. He is survived by his wife, Erika Frantzve, and their two young children.

President Donald Trump shared the news shortly after the shooting:

“The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie.”

Turning Point USA also released a statement asking for privacy and prayers for Kirk’s family, calling for support during this heartbreaking time.
