Riley Green isn’t buying into the romance rumors — at least not publicly. With a grin, he told fans, “We’re just friends. Honestly, Ella’s probably too smart to date me anyway.”
Of course, that little line only fueled the fire.
Country fans love a potential love story, and Riley’s undeniable chemistry with fellow singer Ella Langley has kept people buzzing. Their duet performances light up the stage, and according to Riley, they knew what was coming.
“When the song started taking off, I told Ella, ‘People are gonna talk,’” he explained. “We don’t have to lean into it or fight it. Just enjoy it like we enjoy singing together.”

Ella first joined Riley on tour back in 2024, and now she’s returning as an opener for his 2025 Damn Country Music tour. Which means fans will have plenty more chances to analyze their on-stage moments — and maybe read a little extra into those smiles.
