Just past 9:15 p.m. ET, host Ryan Seacrest delivered the big news during the live broadcast. All three finalists stood together on stage, visibly anxious.
“The first person to take a coveted spot in your top two after the nationwide vote is… John Foster,” Seacrest announced. Foster immediately covered his face in disbelief, then gently comforted Breanna by placing a hand on her back—a quiet but touching moment of friendship.
