Dolly Parton hasn’t been on a full tour since her “Pure & Simple” tour ended back in 2016, with just a few special concerts sprinkled here and there. That’s why fans are especially excited about her latest announcement: she’s coming to Las Vegas for a limited six-show run at Caesars Palace this December.
The mini-residency, called “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas,” will light up the Colosseum at Caesars from December 4th through the 13th. While it’s a short run for now, fans will surely be hoping for more dates given Dolly’s massive popularity — and the timing is perfect, as it coincides with the National Finals Rodeo, when country music and Vegas often come together in style.
Tickets will be available starting Wednesday at 10 a.m. PT through Ticketmaster, and though there’s no word on early presales, VIP packages will be up for grabs. These exclusive offers could include a personal photo with Dolly, an onstage tour, access to her famed Rhinestone Lounge, deluxe gift sets, and other special perks.
Dolly shared her excitement, saying, “To say I’m excited would be an understatement. I haven’t worked Vegas in years, and I’ve always loved singing there. I’m really looking forward to the shows at The Colosseum at Caesars, and I hope you are too. See you there!”
Her last Vegas residency was at the Mirage in the early ’90s, where she performed nearly 50 shows over several years — a much longer run than this one.
While details on the setlist are still under wraps, fans can expect a night full of Dolly’s biggest hits — from “Jolene” and “I Will Always Love You” to “9 to 5.” It’s shaping up to be a classic Dolly Parton experience that no fan will want to miss.
