During a recent visit to Taste of Country Nights, the “Weren’t for the Wind” singer was asked who she’d love to share the stage with. Her answer? None other than the legendary Stevie Nicks.
“I grew up listening to all kinds of music,” Ella shared, “but probably the most out-of-left-field choice for me would be Stevie Nicks.”
It’s a bold dream, but a fitting one. Stevie Nicks—iconic voice of Fleetwood Mac and two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee—has inspired generations with her ethereal voice and poetic lyrics. And if Ella ever got the chance to sing with her?
“Oh, I would lose my mind,” she admitted with a laugh.
As both a singer and songwriter, you might think Ella would want to perform one of her own tracks in that dream duet. But for her, it’s not about who wrote the song—it’s about sharing the moment. “I don’t care who wrote it,” she said. “As long as I got to sing with Stevie Nicks.”
Though still fresh on the mainstream scene, Ella is already making waves. She led the 2025 ACM Awards in nominations and walked away with five wins—an impressive feat for any artist, let alone a rising star.
And she’s not slowing down. Ella teased that she’s hard at work on her next project. “This next record won’t be out until next year,” she told fans. “But don’t worry—I’m not going to leave y’all without music for that long. We’ve got some stuff coming before then.”
