Miranda Lambert gave fans a moment to remember at the 2025 ACM Awards on May 8, and she wasn’t alone—rising country star Ella Langley joined her for a fiery duet that had the crowd cheering from the first note.
The night started with Miranda stepping into the spotlight solo, delivering a beautifully stripped-down performance of her heartfelt single, “Run.” Without flashy lights or distractions, she let the lyrics do the talking—reminding everyone why she’s still one of country music’s most powerful storytellers.
But things heated up fast when Ella Langley walked out to join her. Together, they launched into “Kerosene,” Miranda’s breakout hit from 2005. The stage lit up with actual flames, and the energy between the two artists was electric. It was a perfect mix of Miranda’s legendary fire and Ella’s fresh edge—two generations of country grit colliding in the best way.
While Miranda wasn’t up for any awards this year—a surprise to many, especially since her Postcards From Texas album came out during the eligibility period—she still proved she’s a force to be reckoned with. With 37 ACM wins under her belt, she remains the most-awarded artist in ACM history.
This year also marks a special milestone: the 20th anniversary of Kerosene, the album that launched her into stardom. To celebrate, Miranda released the project on vinyl for the first time and dropped a never-before-heard track from the era, “I Don’t Love Her Anymore.”
Hosted by Reba McEntire and streaming live from the Ford Center in Frisco, Texas, the 2025 ACM Awards had no shortage of standout performances—but Miranda and Ella’s unforgettable duet reminded everyone that sometimes, country music is at its best when it burns bright and bold.
