Country icons Reba McEntire and Garth Brooks are teaming up for a truly unforgettable night of music as they headline Opry 100: A Live Celebration—a three-hour special airing this March on NBC. Hosted by Blake Shelton, this one-of-a-kind event celebrates the Grand Ole Opry’s 100th anniversary with an all-star lineup that includes Carrie Underwood, Vince Gill, Trisha Yearwood, Carly Pearce, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, and more.

Adding to the magic, country legend Randy Travis is set to make a special appearance, with other musical guests like Amy Grant, Eric Church, Jelly Roll, and The War and Treaty joining in the celebration.

Patrick Moore, CEO of Opry Entertainment Group, shared his excitement:

“We’re pleased to partner with our Grand Ole Opry members to create a truly unforgettable evening. This special will connect millions of country music fans to the magic of the Opry and hopefully inspire them to visit us in Nashville throughout the year.”

Opry 100: A Live Celebration will air on Wednesday, March 19 on NBC and will also be available for streaming on Peacock.

Reba’s Special Opry Journey
For Reba McEntire, the event is especially meaningful. She celebrated her own Grand Ole Opry anniversary recently, marking the moment she officially joined the Opry family on January 17, 1986.

“The Grand Ole Opry is a home,” Reba shared. “It’s a family. It’s like a family reunion when you come back and get to see everybody.”

Her Opry journey actually began in 1977, but her debut didn’t go quite as planned. Reba was set to perform two songs, but that quickly changed when Dolly Parton arrived.

“They told me, ‘We’re cutting you down to one song because Dolly just pulled in the driveway and she’s taking your slot,’” Reba recalled with a laugh.

Since then, Reba’s become a beloved fixture at the Opry. In 2018, she inducted Dustin Lynch into the family, and in 2024, she personally invited Lainey Wilson to become a member—just another example of how deeply connected she is to country music’s most legendary stage.

This special night promises powerhouse performances, heartfelt tributes, and country music history in the making. Don’t miss it!
