Ella Langley and Riley Green brought a taste of Alabama to country fans in the UK at this year’s Hyde Park show, performing their hit single, “You Look Like You Love Me.” With Morgan Wallen headlining the event, which drew a record-breaking 50,000 attendees, the concert became the largest country music event ever held in the UK.
Dressed in his classic blue jeans, button-up shirt, and baseball cap, Green got the crowd fired up before introducing Langley, who stepped onto the stage in a stunning black mesh dress with intricate embroidery. The audience erupted in cheers as she took the mic, and the two country stars led a heartfelt sing-along to their catchy track.
The song, which has become a fan favorite, tells the story of a serendipitous romance between two strangers who meet at a bar. Green strummed his guitar while Langley delivered the song’s opening lines with her sultry twang, setting the mood for the love story that unfolds.
Langley’s smooth vocals carried the chorus, where she playfully sings:
“Excuse me, you look like you love me / You look like you want me to want you to come on home / Baby, I don’t blame you / For looking me up and down across this room / I’m drunk and I’m ready to leave / And you look like you love me.”
Green joined in, adding his own charm to the mix, as he sang about his reaction to the country girl’s bold approach.
“Well, I was down at the local beer joint / With a few of the guys / When this cute little country girl caught my eye / And boy, let me tell you, she was the prettiest thing I’d ever seen in a pair of boots.”
Their duet brought a nostalgic, old-school country love story to life, and the chemistry between the artists had the crowd buzzing. After debuting the song at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater during the final night of Green’s Ain’t My Last Rodeo Tour, the pair brought their collaboration to London, calling the experience “absolutely insane!”
As Langley gears up for the release of her debut album Hungover on August 2, fans can look forward to more heartfelt tracks, including “You Look Like You Love Me,” “Paint the Town Blue,” “Nicotine,” and the title track. She also announced her upcoming Hungover Tour, kicking off on August 15 in St. Louis, with stops in cities like Chicago, Birmingham, Lexington, and Nashville before wrapping up on November 8. It’s clear that Ella Langley’s star is rising, and her performances with Riley Green are just the beginning.
