“Coldplay is back in the studio” this was said by Chris Martin on December 6 via his Twitter.

The fans were finally filled with joy because they were going to hear the mesmerizing voice of Chris once again. This wasn’t the only update that Martin shared on his Twitter, he also revealed some of the songs that he was listening to lately.

“Hello everybody I hope you’re all doing really well. Here are some things I Love at the moment,” said Chris on his Twitter.

He then revealed some of the best songs that he was listening to, they were; RM‘s “Yun” featuring Erykah Badu, Badu’s live rendition of “Tyrone,” Bayka‘s “She Like It,” The 1975‘s “Looking for Somebody” Inhaler‘s “Totally,” Kyoka‘s “Hurt People” and Stormzy‘s “Hide & Seek.

Then Martin concluded his message with “We are in the studio. We send you all much love.”

It was also revealed by the band that they were going to join Lewis Capaldi and other artists to perform during the first night of Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard 2022, which was going to take place in The O2 in Londo, December 10-11, a two-night event.

The event was going to get filled with some other talented artists;  Sam Smith, Tom Grennan, KSI, Mimi Webb, Sigala, Nathan Dawe, and a ‘MistaJam & Friends’ segment with LF System, Eliza Rose, and Belters Only alongside Coldplay and Lewis Capaldi.

During the band’s concert this summer, NME also stated the band for creating “a joyful spectacle; a masterclass in how a massive pop show can be done”.

“This show is a welcome dose of serotonin; a feel-good celebration. The best Tuesday of our lives? That’s high praise indeed – but given the reception from the audience, you’d argue that for thousands of punters, it’s certainly up there.”
