Former Singer Joins Europe On Stage

A former lead vocalist recently joined a well-known band on stage on May 23 at Gröna Lund in Stockholm, Sweden. Together, they performed the band’s hit track “Cherokee.” Many fans captured and shared the moment on their social media accounts.

The show came two months after the singer parted ways with his previous band.

He later posted some photos from Gröna Lund on his social media, writing:

“Thank you for having me. It was an honor sharing the stage with you for a few seconds! And what an incredible show you guys did on your home turf.”

### A Special Album for the Singer

The singer has been battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia since March 2021. This March, he decided to step away from his previous band, explaining that the demands of touring weren’t compatible with his health and recovery. He chose a lifestyle that supported his well-being and family.

During two recent gigs, a longtime friend of the band took over lead vocals.

In a statement, the band expressed pride in their work with the singer over the past couple of years and wished him all the best in his health journey. To celebrate, they announced the release of something special: a new live album. They wrote earlier:

“To celebrate the last two years, the band will be releasing a live album that perfectly captures this moment of time in the band’s 35-plus-year history, to be announced soon.”
