It has not been long since Stranger Things’ star Joseph Quinn surprised Metallica fans with his wonderful performance of Metallica’s popular track Master of Puppets. Now, again a group of kids is going viral with their wonderful performance of Metallica’s 1988 song “Eye of the Beholder” from their fourth studio album …And Justice for All.

A Metallica fan account on TikTok published a video back in October and the video has been watched by more than 300k people. Kids playing Metallica music seem no older than 12, as per the reports, this group of amazing kids is known as Hammerhead.

Furthermore, the video uploaded on TikTok is revealed to be six years older as it was already published on YouTube in 2016, which also has over two hundred views.

Hammerhead released an original song

Although these talented kids from Kansas City, Missouri, went viral for covering various songs, they also work on their own music. In fact, just a month earlier, they released their original single track called “Fruition.”

Hammerhead was formed by three Metal-loving brothers Abe Ismert, Eli Ismert, and Henry Ismert in 2012. On their official Facebook page, they’ve explained that they are a band of brothers who love and play Trash Metal. Moreover, as per Encyclopaedia Metallum, they were not even 10 years old when they formed the band. A few weeks before releasing Fruition, they released their single Tunnel which now has more than 80k views.

Metallica announces new album

Metallica surprised fans by announcing their new upcoming album 72 Seasons, reports have shown that the album is expected to be released on April 14, 2023. Furthermore, they also released a new single track Lux Æterna. Other than that, the American Metal band also released new dates for their 2023 world tour.

James Hetfield also explained the concept behind the name of their new album. He said, “72 seasons. The first 18 years of our lives that form our true or false selves. The concept that we were told ‘who we are’ by our parents. A possible pigeonholing around what kind of personality we are.”

He continued, “I think the most interesting part of this is the continued study of those core beliefs and how it affects our perception of the world today. Much of our adult experience is reenactment or reaction to these childhood experiences. Prisoners of childhood or breaking free of those bondages we carry.”
