Gwen Stefani’s Return to ‘The Voice’ Dashes Hopes of No Doubt Reunion

Gwen Stefani’s comeback to ‘The Voice’ for season 26 has left fans of No Doubt disappointed about the prospects of a band reunion. Joining Reba McEntire, Michael Bublé, and Snoop Dogg on the coaching panel, Stefani returns after coaching for seven seasons, with her last stint being in season 24.

No Doubt Tour Plans Thwarted

Fans hoping for No Doubt’s first tour in 12 years may have their hopes dashed, as plans reportedly fell through, according to an unnamed source cited by the U.S. Sun. The publication revealed Stefani, 54, will earn $13 million for season 26 of ‘The Voice’ and hinted at failed tour plans despite a successful Coachella performance that sparked reunion hopes.

No Doubt’s Coachella Reunion

In January, Gwen Stefani confirmed a reunion with Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont, and Adrian Young from No Doubt for a special event. Reflecting on the band’s history in a video on No Doubt’s official X account, she shared nostalgic moments:

“That’s the original artwork for ‘The Beacon Street Collection’ that No Doubt did. I actually made this collage myself! It’s so nostalgic. I remember cutting out each of those photos.”

Excitement for the Reunion Gig

No Doubt reunited for a memorable performance at Coachella in April 2024, their first since 2015. Ahead of the show, Stefani expressed her excitement on Jimmy Kimmel Live!:

“It’s going to be amazing. I’m so pumped, and I think what’s going to be hilarious is I know exactly what’s going to happen. I’ll step on stage, look around, and just start cracking up. It’s going to feel like riding a bike. We’ll be like, ‘What are we doing? We’re in the future right now.'”

Stefani’s Perspective on a No Doubt Future

While previously mentioning the unlikelihood of a No Doubt reunion, Stefani remains “open to anything.” In an April interview with Nylon, she clarified that the band has no concrete plans for touring or new music, viewing the Coachella reunion as a fitting conclusion to their journey.

I'm Emma. I Love rock music, doing guitar reviews, and making food. I love writing works because it is the best way to provide information to people.
