During an episode of “Steve-O’s Wild Ride!”, Sebastian Bach, the former frontman of Skid Row, reminisced about a memorable moment from 1989. This was the time when Skid Row was touring with Mötley Crüe on their ‘Dr. Feelgood World Tour’.
Sebastian Bach humorously revealed a past liaison with actress Christina Applegate, known for her role in ‘Married… With Children. He linked himself to a story Applegate shared about leaving Brad Pitt at an event for another man, confirming he was the mystery man:
“I had a brief encounter with Christina Applegate. She once mentioned in a story about leaving Brad Pitt for another guy at an event and wouldn’t name who. Well, that was me!”
Bach recounted the night of the MTV Awards, where Applegate arrived with Pitt but left with him, leading to an adventurous rendezvous that included flying her to Paris for a Skid Row concert. The trip was a whirlwind of sightseeing and dining, accompanied by Applegate’s mother and aunt.
Applegate herself hinted at this incident on an episode of ‘Watch What Happens Live’, where she mentioned leaving Pitt at an awards ceremony for someone not in the acting profession but still famous.
Reflecting on their time together, Bach, in a later interview for his autobiography ‘18 And Life On Skid Row’ with ‘Elliott In The Morning’, described their connection as a fleeting romance that nonetheless made it into a couple of dates. He amusingly noted Applegate’s recollection of their night together as the “dumbest thing” she ever did, jokingly boasting about being preferred over Brad Pitt at one point in time.
“This brief chapter of our lives, where I was chosen over Brad Pitt, definitely had to be shared in my book,” Bach said with a laugh, underscoring the unexpected twists his rock star life has taken.
