Chris Jericho recently poked fun at Mick Jagger during a Rolling Stones concert.

The singer and wrestler shared a video on Instagram, where he humorously called Jagger a “branch,” commenting on his slim physique. Jericho repeatedly used the term “branch” in his video.

“Hey guys! Back at it in the front row of The Rolling Stones concert checking in on my branches, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. 🌳🌳🌳”

Jericho Urges Jagger to Retire

Towards the end of the video, Jericho chanted:

“Please retire! Please retire!”

Despite his playful calls for Jagger to retire, Jericho has previously expressed his admiration for the band, stating in an interview that he attends their shows whenever he can. He even praised Jagger as the best frontman in rock and roll history, noting that he still performs with the energy and appearance of someone much younger.

Will Jagger Ever Retire?

The answer appears to be no.

At 80 years old, Mick Jagger shows no signs of slowing down. He and the Rolling Stones are currently touring to promote their latest album, ‘Hackney Diamonds.’

In an interview two years ago, Jagger emphasized that their tour at that time was not their final one. He spoke about his love for performing live:

“I am not planning it to be the last tour. I love being on tour. I don’t think I would do it if I did not enjoy it. I enjoy going out there on stage and doing my stuff. That is what I do. I want everyone to enjoy themselves and forget the troubles in their lives for a couple of hours and just chill out and have a great afternoon and evening.”
