2014 marked the year Page last performed live, coinciding with his supervision of the remastered releases of Led Zeppelin’s initial three albums, enriched with unique and unheard content from their original recording sessions. This project was the kickoff to a larger plan to revamp all nine of the band’s studio albums, with Page overseeing the conversion of their rich analog sounds to high-resolution digital formats.
Meanwhile, Robert Plant, Page’s former bandmate from Led Zeppelin, also made a splash in the music world with his recent live rendition of “Stairway to Heaven” after 16 years.
