In a recent interview with THAT Rocks!, Mötley Crüe’s guitarist, John 5, shared updates about some of his well-known musician friends. Discussing Marilyn Manson, with whom he had a past working relationship, John 5 commented on Manson’s current well-being following his legal challenges in recent years. He mentioned that Manson seemed to be in high spirits and looking good, although he admitted to not being fully aware of all the details.

John 5 reflected on his time as a member of Manson’s band in the early 2000s, recalling an onstage altercation at the 2003 Rock Am Ring Festival that precipitated his departure to pursue a solo career. Despite this past friction, he spoke positively about Manson, noting that he has seen recent pictures and heard through others that Manson is doing exceptionally well, even though they haven’t spoken directly for some time.

The conversation also touched upon John 5’s previous association with Rob Zombie’s band, which he left to join Mötley Crüe. John 5 expressed a desire to reconnect with Zombie, saying he misses their conversations. He praised the band’s current performance and is hopeful for future communication with Zombie.
