Liam Gallagher being who he is today has gotten himself into a lot of trials and tribulations throughout the years. After being in the music industry for more than 25 years, he is now enjoying his prime time.

Even when Liam was an active member of Oasis, he was a prominent songwriter for the British loved band. And even after being away from the band, he has shown us his potential of him being a great artist on his own.

Fans have been following both brothers for more than 20 years now, and with Liam pursuing his solo career, he is often times asked about his favorite song from the band. Well, they did change the way of British pop, and while having to choose songs can be hard, the good news is he did.

In September 2019, Vogue released a YouTube video labeled 73 Questions With Liam Gallagher where he was asked about a lot of stuff, from his tea, and his favorite lyrics to his favorite Oasis songs.

When he was asked 5 of his favorite song, he could only answer 4 of them and it was with a lot of difficulties.

Liam Gallagher’s favorite Oasis songs

  • Live Forever
  • Supersonic
  • Cast No Shadow
  • Wonderwall

Every Liam Gallagher fan knows that his favorite song is Live Forever. He has always talked about how this is his favorite song. Live Forever was the third single from Oasis which was released all the way back in 1994.

The story behind Live Forever takes us all back to 1991 when Noel was working at a builder’s merchant and after hurting his foot, he was given a job in a storeroom where he would try to spend his time dreaming about his songs.

When the interviewer asked him about his favorite lyrics he replied, “I need to be myself, I can’t be no one else, I’m feeling supersonic, Give me gin and tonic,” making this another of his favorite Oasis songs.

In an interview with Absolute Radio, he talked about ‘Supersonic’ saying, “It’s not like your normal rock and roll tune, and still enjoy singing it.” Previously he said, “I like the words, I like the guitar in it and I still find it an odd tune.”

In the Vogue interview, he says Cast No Shadow is another of his favorite Oasis song. From the second studio album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, Cast No Shadow is a very much loved song.

Even though the interviewer had asked Liam for five songs, he ends the answer with only four songs and that being Wonderwall. With very much difficulty, he hesitantly answers Wonderwall.

Vogue did a great job with the questions as we got to know a lot of newer kinds of stuff about Liam and his world. And the way everything was stuffed, it was just so engaging. We had a great time watching it.
