Metallica, Foo Fighters, Heart and many more bands to perform at Hellfest 2024

The 2024 Hellfest Open Air Festival in Clisson, France, is set to be a monumental event with a lineup of 178 bands, including four headliners. The festival, renowned for its rock and metal focus, initially announced a star-studded array of artists, with the Foo Fighters leading the charge.

Alongside them, fans can expect electrifying performances from Queens of the Stone Age, The Offspring, Royal Blood, Bruce Dickinson, and Megadeth.

Adding to the excitement, recent updates have revealed Metallica, Machine Head, and Avenged Sevenfold as additional main stage headliners, joining the Foo Fighters.

The four-day festival boasts an eclectic mix of acts such as Heart, The Prodigy, Saxon with their Castle & Eagles show, Black Stone Cherry, Extreme, and guitar legend Tom Morello.

Also on the bill are Fear Factory, Mammoth WVH, The Dead Daisies, Steel Panther, Yngwie Malmsteen, Rival Sons, Therapy?, and Mr Bungle.

For fans of heavier, darker metal, the festival doesn’t disappoint, featuring bands like Cradle of Filth, Emperor, Dimmu Borgir, Satyricon, Sodom, Dismember, and I Am Morbid. Additionally, there are still four bands to be announced, including a highly anticipated Special Guest for the Thursday night slot.

Hellfest proudly proclaims this 17th edition to be one of the most diverse and expansive in its history, with six stages catering to a wide range of extreme music tastes. The festival is scheduled from Thursday, June 27th to Sunday, June 30th, 2024, promising an unforgettable experience for rock and metal enthusiasts.
