Last month, Morrissey announced that he has recorded a new album titled ‘Without Music The World Dies’ and has even shared its complete tracklist. This comes after his 13th and latest album, ‘I Am Not A Dog On A Chain,’ which was released in 2020.
In May of 2021, the artist revealed that his upcoming LP would be called ‘Bonfire Of Teenagers’ and was expected to be released in 2023 under Capitol Records. However, in late December 2022, Morrissey clarified that he had voluntarily removed himself from any association with Capitol Records.
Moreover, Morrissey also mentioned that Miley Cyrus, who had contributed backing vocals for ‘Bonfire Of Teenagers’ track ‘I Am Veronica’ in 2020, requested to have her vocals removed from the song.
Morrissey stated that despite Capitol still owning ‘Bonfire Of Teenagers,’ the label has no plans to release it. This situation arose after BMG dropped Morrissey from their roster in November 2020.
