In a recent announcement, Zakk Wylde revealed that the gears are turning for their twelfth studio album. Speaking to Chicago’s Rebel Radio 92.5 FM, Wylde expressed his immediate plans:

“As soon as we wrap up here, I’m heading straight to Black Vatican, my recording sanctuary. Today’s all about laying down some fresh tracks. When I’m home, I seize every moment to dive into the recording process. It’s all about finding that pocket of time between tours to bring new music to life.”

Wylde’s dedication to utilizing his home time for recording ensures a seamless blend of studio work with the band’s touring commitments.

Meanwhile, Jeff Fabb shed some light on the album’s progress in a separate interview, hinting at a forthcoming release without a concrete date yet:

“We’re still nailing down the exact release date, but we’re eyeing the new year for the album drop. And once it’s out, you can bet we’ll hit the road to share it with our fans. I’ll be joining Zakk at his place soon to polish off a few more tracks he’s penned. After that, it’s showtime.”

Fabb’s comments suggest that Black Label Society is poised to embark on a tour following the album’s release, ready to deliver their new material to audiences far and wide.

Adding to the anticipation, Zakk Wylde’s inaugural music festival, Berzerkus, is set to kick off on September 14, 2024, at Poconos Park in Bushkill, Pennsylvania. Alongside Black Label Society, attendees can expect stellar performances from Cody Jinks, Clutch, Rival Sons, and Black Stone Cherry, promising an unforgettable event for rock enthusiasts.
