Spotify’s 2023 Wrapped has highlighted the success of several rock and metal bands. This year, the spotlight was on six bands, each showcasing their streaming triumphs on Spotify.

Pantera revealed a resurgence in their popularity with 329.4 million streams from 20.7 million listeners. Their tour, featuring Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante, paid homage to late members Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul.

Mötley Crüe, prepping for a new album, boasted 442.3 million streams from 31.9 million fans, proving their lasting appeal.

The Scorpions, riding high from their 2022 album, accumulated 500.3 million streams from 51.6 million listeners, thanking their fans for another successful year.

The Smashing Pumpkins saw a significant boost with 503 million streams from 38 million listeners, likely driven by their recent rock opera release.

Nickelback’s 2022 album ‘Get Rollin’’ propelled them to 882.3 million streams and a fan base of 52.6 million. They expressed gratitude to all their fans, including those who didn’t rank them in their top five.

Linkin Park emerged as the top rock/metal act on Spotify, with an astounding 3 billion streams from 105.6 million listeners. Their success was bolstered by the reissue of ‘Meteora’ and its lead single ‘Lost,’ which alone gathered 151 million streams.
