Exciting news for fans of Mötley Crüe: The band is gearing up to release a new album, and guitarist John 5 hints that it’s reminiscent of their classic ‘Dr. Feelgood.’
In a recent chat with The Metal Voice, John 5 delved into the details of Mötley Crüe’s upcoming work. He shared his enthusiasm about the new tracks and his upcoming tour plans:
“We’re busy creating new tracks, and there’s a fresh song ready to drop soon, which I’m thrilled about. My tour kicks off this Friday in Santa Ana, and it runs till March. After that, we’ll be rehearsing with Mötley Crüe for our summer tour, followed by my solo European tour in November. It’s a packed year ahead.”
Discussing the band’s musical evolution, John 5 compared the new material to their renowned ‘Dr. Feelgood’ album, promising “Heavy, top-notch songs.”
Mötley Crüe’s most recent album was ‘Saints Of Los Angeles’ in 2008. The band had been quiet about new music until John 5 joined the group, following Mick Mars’ retirement. Fresh details about the album emerged recently, with John 5 noting a ‘magical’ synergy when the band unites.
In another interview, John 5 mentioned that while the release date is still under wraps, the album is well-planned and structured.
Drummer Tommy Lee shares the excitement, calling the new album’s sound ‘insane.’ He revealed that the band is currently filming a music video for a track titled ‘Dogs Of War,’ building anticipation for its imminent release.
