Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil Caught Lip-Syncing At Recent Concert

In a newly released video, Vince Neil can be seen imitating a song during a Mötley Crüe performance. Neil can be seen stepping away from the microphone in the video, which was uploaded by TikTok user larrycherry55. The vocal recording is still playing in the background.

Although it’s unclear when this footage was shot, it most likely came from one of Crüe’s two shows this month in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Fans were miffed to see Vince Neil lip-sync rather than perform a live song, which caused them to express their worries about this incident. However, this is not the first time Neil’s live shows have drawn criticism. He has a history of vocal issues, and many of his followers have stated dissatisfaction with his lackluster performances.

Neil flatly denies ever defrauding his fans who spent good money to see the ailing glam rocker perform live in an interview conducted by a DJ for a Portland, Oregon radio station in 2015. He had said,

“There is no lip-synching in rock and roll; I mean, it just doesn’t happen. So it’s kind of stupid thing to even talk about, because, I mean, anybody who goes to the show can tell there’s no lip-synching involved. It’s pretty lame.”

In addition to the controversy surrounding Neil’s lip-syncing, guitarist Mick Mars has stopped traveling with MTLEY CRÜE due to health reasons. John 5 will join the group on their upcoming world tour in 2023 with DEF LEPPARD in his stead. The Live Nation-produced concert will kick off on February 18, 2023, in Mexico City and make stops throughout Europe and Latin America before coming to an end on July 6, 2023, in Glasgow, United Kingdom.
