The biopic on legendary musician Ozzy Osbourne is finally coming to fruition, as confirmed by the man himself, his wife Sharon, and their children. Aimée and Jack Osbourne, the couple’s eldest daughter and son respectively, are taking on the role of producers for the project.

The film will delve into the tumultuous relationship between Ozzy and Sharon between 1979 and 1996, highlighting the ups and downs of their marriage, including their betrayals, reconciliations, and dangerous incidents that threatened Ozzy’s career. The screenplay will be penned by Lee Hall, the talented writer behind the hit movies “Rocketman” and “Billy Elliot.”

Ozzy Osbourne recently spoke with the online magazine Consequence, about the upcoming biopic, revealing that he doesn’t want a famous actor like Johnny Depp to portray him on screen. Instead, he believes that the role should be given to an actor who is relatively unknown.

Ozzy stated that he is not concerned about how the story is presented, including the darker moments of his life involving drugs, alcohol, and his relationship with Sharon. The only thing that matters to him is that the movie is not cheesy or poorly made and truly captures his life’s essence.

As of now, there is no information available about the cast or potential actors involved in the project. Sharon Osbourne has previously stated that the biopic will be vastly different from the movie “Bohemian Rhapsody” about Queen, and will be much more real and authentic.

The upcoming biopic on the life of Ozzy Osbourne is yet to be named. The project is being developed by Polygram Entertainment, the film and television unit of Universal Music Group, and will be produced through Osbourne Media.
