The 77-year-old expressed her desire to be buried next to her late ex-husband, Elvis Presley, and their daughter, Lisa Marie Presley when the time comes.

In a statement, Priscilla shared that although she has no plans of going anywhere soon, she and her family hope to honor this wish. They are grateful for the love and support from their fans.

Recent reports suggest that Priscilla’s request was not granted in a settlement reached with her granddaughter, Riley Keough. Elvis was laid to rest at his cherished Graceland estate, where his grave rests beside those of his parents, Gladys and Vernon.

Lisa Marie and her son, Benjamin Keough, who tragically passed away in 2020, are also buried there.

Priscilla and Elvis were married in 1967 after meeting eight years earlier. Although they separated in 1972 and Priscilla went on to marry and divorce Marco Garibaldi, she has consistently referred to Elvis as the love of her life.

“Although some media identified such a plea as a lawsuit, I want to make clear that there was never any lawsuit filed against my beloved granddaughter.”

She continued: “As a family, we are pleased that we resolved this together. My family and I hope that everyone will grant us the privacy we need to properly grieve Lisa Marie and spend personal time together. We love and appreciate all of you and the Presley family is stronger than ever.”

Ted Nugent, however, asserted that Stanley unleashed his “beautiful logic” with such words in a recent edition of The Nightly Nuge Show.

“Once again, I love Gene, and I actually contacted him after he made that mistaken statement, and I let him know I still love him, but it was a really ridiculous, cruel, dishonest, totally misrepresentative statement that he said. But this time, Paul Stanley hit the nail on the head. So, yes, women should only compete against women, and men should only compete against men. Wow, that’s radical.”

This time, she has teamed up with some of the biggest names in rock music to create her first-ever rock album, aptly titled “Rockstar.” With an all-star lineup of musicians and a collection of 30 songs, including nine original tracks and 21 iconic rock anthems, Parton’s “Rockstar” is set to take the world by storm. The album is scheduled for a global release on November 17, and fans will be able to enjoy it in various formats, including a four-LP set, a two-CD set, digital download, and streaming services.

Inspired by Love: Dolly’s Tribute to Her Husband

In an interview with Today.com, Dolly Parton revealed that each song on “Rockstar” is inspired by her husband, Carl Dean. It turns out that Carl has a particular fondness for the legendary rock band LED ZEPPELIN’s timeless classic, “Stairway To Heaven,” which Parton decided to cover on the album. Interestingly, her first attempt at covering the track didn’t quite impress Carl. He humorously commented that her rendition was more like “Stairwell To Hell” than “Stairway To Heaven.” However, Dolly was undeterred by his opinion and decided to take on the challenge anyway.

One of the original tracks on the album, “World On Fire,” was released on May 11. Dolly Parton expressed in a press release that she felt “inspired” to write this poignant song as it speaks to the current state of the world. Dolly sings, “Don’t get me started on politics / Now how are we to live in a world like this / Greedy politicians present and past / They wouldn’t know the truth if it bit ’em in the ass.”

When asked about the specific politicians she refers to in the song, Dolly answered, “All of them. Any of ’em.” She believes that many politicians prioritize their party’s interests over the needs of the people

The world of rock & roll is frequently packed with unnoticed behind-the-scenes activities. One such incident is Jimmy Page, the guitarist for Led Zeppelin, who was unhappy with the record’s cover art because it didn’t live up to his standards, and the band’s third studio album, “Led Zeppelin III.”

The band, or more precisely, Page, had a definite idea for the album’s cover while “Led Zeppelin III” was in the works. But for a variety of reasons, this vision didn’t come to pass as planned, leaving us disappointed.

In a direct admission made in a 1993 interview with Guitar World, Page said that the album cover image wasn’t exactly what he had in mind. Led Zeppelin III’s cover image did not be the only aspect of Page’s dislike for it. It was also about how it was made, how the artist and creator interacted with one other, and the final product, which was not what Page had first imagined.

Regarding the work for which he accepted responsibility, Jimmy Page said:

“A disappointment. I will take responsibility for that one. I knew the artist and described what we wanted with this wheel that made things appear and change. But he got very personal with this artwork and disappeared off with it. We kept saying, ‘Can we take a look at it? Can we see where it is going?’ Finally, the album was actually finished, and we still did not have the art. It got to the point where I had to say, ‘Look, I have got to have this thing.’

I was not happy with the final result — I thought it looked teeny-boppers. But we were on top of a deadline, so of course, there was no way to make any radical changes to it. There are some silly bits–little chunks of corn and nonsense like that. But it is no worse than my first meeting with an artist from Hipgnosis, who were the people that designed Pink Floyd covers.”

He also added,We had commissioned them to design ‘Houses of the Holy,’ and this guy Storm came in carrying this picture of an electric green tennis court with a tennis racquet on it. I said, ‘What the hell does that have to do with anything?’ And he said, ‘Racket — don’t you get it?.’ I said, ‘Are you trying to imply that our music is a racket? Get out!’

We never saw him again. We ended up dealing with one of the other artists [laughs]. That was a total insult — racket. He had some balls! Imagine. On a first meeting with a client!”

Page’s remark made it plain that he was dissatisfied with how the album cover turned up in the end. He was dissatisfied with the cover’s teeny-bopper aesthetic since his vision for it was not accomplished. His connection with the artist, who turned the piece into something personal then vanished, only made things worse. Furthermore, it was unable to make any substantial alterations to the artwork due to the tight schedule.

Not only were they dissatisfied with the cover art for “Led Zeppelin III,” but they were also unhappy with the artwork for “Houses of the Holy,” where they were called “racket” by the artist. ‘Led Zeppelin III’ is still a masterpiece, and its cover image is essential to its identity, despite the displeasure with it.
